Excel lists were difficult to follow and progress was hard to grasp. With Initiative Management, it was easier to follow. We saw the pipeline increasing and go to about 3 millions over.

One Lens On Every Initiative

Franke has a centralized procurement function that previously relied heavily on tracking savings with Excel. The lack of visibility and proper governance created issues.

Therefore, Franke decided to roll out Sievo Initiative Management as the single place to track and validate savings. Procurement, manufacturing, and logistics all feed into the same system.

Teams now collaborate within the platform. Progress, evidence, and comments are visible to everyone involved. This change cut email chains, eliminated duplicate projects, and made approvals faster and more accurate.

"Adoption has been very good", says Liviu. "Now we are talking to marketing, and R&D wants to use it for their initiatives.”

Initiatives progress through clear stages with probability-adjusted values, making it clear whether the savings pipeline is strong enough to meet year-end targets. If there's a shortfall, leadership sees it early to adjust plans.

With reliable data feeding every part of the process, budgeting runs more smoothly, departments stay aligned, and procurement has all the proof to show its impact on the business.

"Senior leadership doesn't have to wait for consolidations," Marc explains. "They log in and see exactly the projects' status and impact."

Exceeding The Targets

"Before, we were below the savings target; now we're 3 million above", Liviu says. "It's not just about hitting the target, it's also knowing we have the right projects in place to get there."

The benefits extend across the organization.

As Marc explains, "Controllers now manage approvals locally. They review the details, verify accuracy, and approve the initiatives. To have proper governance mechanisms in place with a suitable system makes a big difference."

The platform provides flexibility. It adapts as procurement processes evolve and supports functions beyond procurement. The result is a single lens on initiatives across departments.

With initiatives visible in one place, leadership views progress in real time and trusts what they see. "We can show exactly how we contribute to the company's success."

For Franke, Initiative Management didn't just solve a reporting headache. "Procurement of the future has to rely on data," Liviu reflects. "Now, we have it."
