Biscuit International, Europe’s leading private-label biscuit manufacturer, has grown rapidly through a series of acquisitions. While this expansion increased market reach, it also created a fragmented landscape of tools, data, and processes.
“Each company had its own way of doing things and its own systems,” recalls Agnieszka Chudek-Verdoold, PMO at Biscuit International. “That added a lot of complexity.”
Procurement managed multiple ERPs, including two versions of SAP, without a unified view of spend, consistent supplier data, or aligned payment terms. Manual reporting became the only way forward. The lack of reliable, real-time data made decision-making increasingly difficult.
“We had no idea how fragmented our spend was until we saw it in one place,” Agnieszka explains. “One supplier had 12 different payment terms across multiple countries and procurement categories. That was insane.”
In early 2024, Biscuit International implemented Spend Analytics, giving procurement a single, company-wide view of spend for the first time.
"With Sievo, we consolidated data from multiple ERPs and harmonized everything: supplier codes, prices, volumes,” says Agnieszka. “It all came together.”
Instead of spending hours building reports, teams could instantly answer key questions: how spend evolved over time, how pricing aligned with volumes, and where supplier coverage was insufficient.
In 2025, Biscuit International added Sievo Insights, which delivers AI-driven recommendations directly into the buyer workflow. Opportunities are now automatically identified, enabling buyers to initiate negotiations, assign projects, and track progress with a click.

With full visibility in place, Biscuit International was able to harmonize supplier payment terms and extend its average payment window from 41 to 51 days.

Equipped with Sievo Craftboards, buyers entered supplier negotiations with a complete view of spend, pricing, volumes, and supplier performance. Negotiations became more effective, with fewer surprises and stronger outcomes.
Automated insights replaced hours of manual work. By flagging opportunities to the right stakeholders, procurement shifted from analysis to action in a fraction of the time.
Other functions quickly recognized the value of Sievo and began integrating it into their own workflows. Finance leveraged the platform to monitor the cash flow improvements and reduce time spent on routine checks. R&D uses Sievo’s data visibility to support more informed decision-making during product development.
“Sievo changed the way we work,” Agnieszka says, “not just what we see."
Before Insights, I’d have to manually spot something and message a buyer. Now, I just assign the opportunity with a click, and they’re on it. It started as a procurement tool, but more and more teams are using it. We didn’t have to convince them — they saw what Sievo can do.
